Samir Salya’s hard work fuelled his success story. He was born and raised in Preston, Lancashire (UK), and grew up in a strong, close-knit family. Here, he was moulded to believe that hard work and determination are the only means to get far in life.
Samir dropped out of college after a year and turned towards his true calling in life, business. He worked at his father’s organisation, which manufactured denim garments. He gained an expert overview of the manufacturing side of the business and picked up knowledge on processes such as dyes and stone washes.
With a relentless thirst to learn, he followed his father’s every move and studied the business from the ground up. Samir gathered first hand knowledge on each aspect of the business, from garment handling to the accounts.
After gaining an insight into the family business Samir, decided to return to his studies and went onto successfully complete a business management and fashion design course which consequently helped him build his own designer label. By fusing his love for Italian design and first hand knowledge of the industry, he launched his first fashion brand ‘Amito’. Steering to expansion, he supplied his products to a range of boutique designer stores throughout the UK. His hard work and determination earnt him a reputation for being a smart and an assertive businessman.
His passion for success never stopped, and he swiftly turned his focus towards other lucrative business ideas. Cue the well-timed move to construction and real estate.
After a few years, Samir became restless to reach his optimum potential. With his father urging him to move on and venture out on his own, he formed his own organisation in 2007 (Reign Holdings).
