Reign Holdings' History

Our Journey

Usman Salya

Founder

“Change is inevitable – markets change, people change, but values don’t. As a leading corporation, we have the relevant commercial exposure, we have the correct resources and market intelligence to help our clients drift over these changes ‘profitably’. We have a clear focus in serving our consumers to the best of our abilities and involving ourselves in projects that bring a real change in the way we experience the world today”.

Usman Salya is the very definition of the entrepreneur’s success.

Hailing from the western state of Gujarat (India). Mr. Salya’s keen business acumen and an aim for a better life drove him to build a business empire, which today is truly global in its stature. In the 1980’s, he ventured into the business world during England’s industrial boom. His denim/jeans manufacturing company grew by leaps and bounds, which quickly earned a reputation for being high quality at a reasonable cost. The company’s impressive portfolio of premium fashion houses included names such as Lee, Wrangler, Levis, The Arcadia Group, River Island, Marks & Spencer, Next, Topman and a number of prestigious Italian designer brands.

The company entered into Europe, North Africa and Asia. Here they earned numerous accolades and awards from the textile and fashion world. Driven by a sheer will to succeed, Mr. Salya set his sight upon new potential ideas. His desire to expand and diversify soon led the company into areas of construction, real estate, equity investments, recruitment and charities. Not forgetting his roots and family’s philosophy, Mr. Salya also consciously made the effort to get involved in charity work, by setting up the Salya Charitable Trust.
